To get started with Grapevine, head over to https://app.thegrapevine.tech and from here you can sign up for a new account or sign in with an existing account. Grapevine is currently best supported in Google Chrome, other browsers may work but we don't officially support anything but Chrome for now.

You can sign in to Grapevine using a Google account, which is the easiest way to get started. Alternatively you can sign up using an email and password.

When signing up with email and password, you will need to enter your first and last name, and an email address and password you would like to use with your new account. Press the signup button. (If the information entered was not valid or the signup could not proceed for whatever reason, a dialog popup will appear, explaining the problem).

You should now receive an email which allows you to verify your new account. Following the link in the email is enough to verify that your address is valid. You must do this before you can sign in. If you have not received the email after a few minutes please remember to check your spam folder, otherwise please contact us.

Once your email is verified you can sign in by following the sign in link or going to the following URL: https://app.thegrapevine.tech/ If this is the first time you have signed in, you will be taken to the avatar setup page. Your avatar is your 3D digital representation. You can set up your look and style however you like.

Use the panel on the left to choose which feature of your avatar you would like to edit, and then use the arrow buttons on the left and right of the avatar to cycle through the different options. (The small pencil button on the top left corner expands the left panel so you can see all the options in detail. ) When you are happy with how you look, press the tick button in the top right corner. Remember you can change your avatar at any time later, so don’t worry if it’s not perfect.

If you have created a space in the past, or someone has added you as a member to their space, it should appear in your home screen as a space card. Click on the middle of the card for the space you want to go to. The space will load, which sometimes takes a few seconds.
